A Royal Gun Salute

A Royal Gun Salute to mark His Majesty King Charles III 75th birthday was fired this morning at Alexandra Gardens, Cardiff, by Reservists from 104 Regiment Royal Artillery.

Alongside the head of the Army in Wales, Brigadier Nick Thomas CBE, and the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Bablin Molik was the Lord Lieutenant of South Glamorgan, Morfudd Meredith, who took the salute.

The Regimental Band & Corps of Drums of The Royal Welsh played music before and after the firing of the 105mm light guns.
